It was put together with borrowed money and the single minded vision to publish that one book. But as time rolled along, the uses of MousePrints became more apparent. A man named Rod Williams, a literacy advocate for the Palmdale, California public library, had heard of MousePrints and asked if I would be interested in participating in the publication of an anthology of the work of local writers in California's Antelope Valley. He had put together and published one such anthology, but felt that he needed some more professional help if the series was to continue. I thought about the Anthology and decided it was a great idea and we were off. We just published the fourth A.V. Anthology and it is the best one we have ever done. In the future, I hope to continue with the A.V. Anthologies, but to also expand to publishing other authors. This, in turn, has led to the formation of a workshop group called THE UNKNOWN WRITERS OF THE ANTELOPE VALLEY. This is a support and critique group made up of Professional and wanna-be Professional writers. We meet once a month to discuss and read our work to one antoher and to receive constructive criticism about how to make the work better and more salable. We also meet to celebrate one another's triumphs or to offer condolence and strength when the reject slips just keep coming in. What MousePrints Publishing and UWAV will lead to in the future I can't even imagine, but we are looking forward with anticipation as to what will happen next.
